Quick and Easy Orange Cookies
Wonderfully soft cookies that melt in your mouth, with a shiny finish. The perfect orange recipe for anyone who wants something quick and easy to eat.

Zest an orange and juice it.

In a bowl, add the room-temperature butter and the sugar. Beat until nice and smooth and creamy.

Add the orange zest and the egg, and mix until combined. Continue with the orange juice and mix again.

Add the flour and baking powder, preferably through a sieve. Add the salt and mix.

Turn out onto the counter and finish combining the ingredients by hand.

Roll out with a rolling pin to your desired thickness.

Cut out the cookies with a cutter and place them on a baking sheet.

In a bowl, beat an egg and brush all the cookies with it.

Run a fork across the surface of the cookies to give them texture.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.
