Banana and Chocolate Loaf Cake
You probably knew this loaf cake as banana-only, but adding chocolate makes it even better. The sweetness of the banana combined with the chocolate makes this loaf cake something out of this world.

Step by step
- 1
Butter and flour a loaf pan. Put it in the freezer.

- 2
In a bowl, peel and mash 2 bananas.

- 3
In another bowl, add the room-temperature butter and the sugar. Combine. Add vanilla extract and one egg. Beat, then add the second one. Beat again.

- 4
Add the flour, the baking powder (preferably sifted), the mashed banana and the chocolate chips. Finish combining.

- 5
Pour the batter into the pan and tap it against the counter so there are no gaps or air pockets left in the batter.

- 6
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 to 40 minutes.
