Chocolate Dulce de Leche Cones
If you're passionate about sweets, chocolate and dulce de leche, learning to make these little cones is a must. You'll never have to pay a fortune to buy them again.
Ingredients

Step by step
- 1
In a bowl, combine room-temperature butter and the sugar, mixing until creamy. Add vanilla extract and one egg, and mix again until combined.

- 2
Add the flour, baking powder and baking soda, preferably through a sifter. Beat, running a spatula along the sides to scrape off the flour stuck there.

- 3
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about an hour.

- 4
Unwrap the dough, break it apart and bring it back together without kneading too much.

- 5
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, adding a generous amount of flour both underneath and on top.

- 6
Cut out the circles with a cutter and place them on a baking sheet.

- 7
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 15 minutes.

- 8
Fill a piping bag with thick dulce de leche (pastry-grade) and assemble the cones. (See the video for more detail.)

- 9
Coat with melted chocolate candy coating. (If you don't know how to melt it, I have a video explaining it!)
