Cupcakes at Home

Step by step

In a bowl, add the room-temperature butter and the sugar. Stir.

Add vanilla extract and the egg. Stir.

Add the flour and stir again — I recommend starting slowly so the flour doesn't fly out of the bowl.

Add the milk and mix one last time.

Line a cupcake pan with paper liners and fill them with the batter.

Tap the pan against the counter a few times to make the batter settle.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 to 25 minutes.

Decorate!
