    Add the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt to a bowl. Mix until the ingredients are evenly distributed.

    To avoid lumps, add only half or ¾ of the milk. Add one egg and the oil. Whisk.

    Gradually add the rest of the milk and the vanilla extract. Keep whisking.

    Plug in the waffle maker and spray it with cooking spray. Pour the batter onto the waffle maker once it reaches the right temperature.
