Butter and flour the cake pan, then set it aside in the freezer.

In a bowl, add the eggs and the sugar, and beat until the mixture is nice and creamy.

Add the oil and the milk while beating.

Add the flour, the baking powder, and the salt, preferably through a sieve. Mix until all the ingredients are combined.

Divide half of the batter into another bowl and add the cocoa powder to one of them.

Pour both batters into the pan, alternating between them, then run a skewer through to swirl the mixtures together a bit.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 50 minutes.
