Marbled Cookies
Marble cake, marble loaf cake and yes, of course, marbled cookies too! With a super fun shaping technique you'll be able to make tons of them in no time.

Step by step

In a bowl, combine the room-temperature butter and the sugar, and beat until the mixture is creamy.

Add the egg and the vanilla extract, and mix them in.

Add the flour and the baking powder, through a sieve if you have one. Add the salt and combine everything.

Turn the dough out onto the counter and finish bringing it together with your hands.

Divide it in half, return one half to the bowl and combine it with the cocoa powder.

Roll each dough into a log, making sure both are the same length, flatten them with a rolling pin, cut lengthwise strips and put them back together alternating the colors. (Shown in detail in the video)

Cut this new dough crosswise, roll each piece into a little ball and place them on a baking sheet, flattening them onto it.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.
