Nut Loaf Cake
This recipe is a real Christmas classic, but you can also make it at any time of year. This nut loaf cake combines the crunch of the nuts with a very fluffy cake.

Step by step
- 1
In a bowl, add room-temperature butter and sugar; combine until you reach a creamy texture.

- 2
Add vanilla extract and one egg. Beat. Add the second egg and mix again.

- 3
Add the flour and baking powder (preferably through a sifter). Beat, this time running a spatula around to scrape down the flour stuck to the sides of the bowl.

- 4
Add the nuts and fold them in.

- 5
Butter and flour the pan, then pour in the batter.

- 6
Tap it against the counter a few times so the batter settles and no gaps or air pockets are left.

- 7
Bake for 30 to 40 min at 180°C (350°F).
