Strawberry Trifle

One of the kings of desserts in a glass! Made up of three layers combining textures and flavors, it makes a dessert you'll be eating by the spoonful.

Step by step

    Cut the strawberries, first removing the leaves and then cutting them into tiny pieces. Put them in a pot.

    Add sugar, mix and place on a burner over the highest heat. Once it boils, lower to medium-low heat and let it cook until it reaches the desired consistency. Set aside.

    In a bowl, add the cream cheese, the powdered sugar and the vanilla extract. Combine with a mixer.

    In another bowl, add the cream and whip until it starts to thicken.

    Combine these last two preparations with gentle folding motions so you don't lose the air we incorporated while whipping. (This technique is explained in detail in the video).

    Transfer this mixture to a piping bag.

    In a glass, put a base layer of the first strawberry reduction, then cut ladyfingers, and then the second mixture from the piping bag. Repeat these steps until the glass is full.
