Yogurt Cake
A different way to make a sponge cake or cake, using yogurt! It comes out wonderfully fluffy and with a unique flavor.

Step by step

Butter and flour the cake pan, then set it aside in the freezer.

In a bowl, add the eggs and the sugar and beat for several minutes until the mixture gains good volume.

Add the zest of one lemon, and while beating, pour in the oil and the yogurt.

Add the flour and the baking powder, preferably through a sieve. Beat until fully combined.

Pour the batter into the pan and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 50 minutes.
