Apple Flan
A twist on the classic flan, adding apple for a more interesting texture and a delicious flavor — plus it's healthier, made with pure fruit!

Step by step
- 1
Peel and core the apples, then cut them into small pieces and put them in a bowl.

- 2
In a pot, add the sugar and heat over the highest heat, stirring until the caramel has formed. Turn off the heat and pour the caramel into the molds, tilting them very carefully so it coats the entire inside. Set aside.

- 3
In a bowl, add the eggs, the sugar and the milk. Whisk well.

- 4
Put the apples into the caramel-coated molds and fill with the mixture.

- 5
Place the molds in a baking dish and fill it halfway with water — this way it cooks in a water bath (bain-marie) and doesn't end up with too many bubbles.

- 6
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 50 minutes.
