Ingredients

Step by step
- 1
Peel and core the apples, then cut them into very small cubes and put them in a skillet.

- 2
Add the butter to the skillet and place over high heat, stirring. When the apples are well reduced, remove from the heat and set aside.

- 3
In a bowl, add the flour, the cinnamon and the baking powder, preferably through a sieve. Add the salt and combine these ingredients. Set aside.

- 4
In another bowl, add the egg, the sugar and the melted butter. Beat vigorously for a few minutes until it gains some volume, then add the reduced apple and keep stirring.

- 5
Transfer the mixture to the bowl with the dry ingredients, add beer or any carbonated beverage and mix until combined.

- 6
Heat oil until very hot and fry the fritters. Once they take on color, remove them and place on paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
