Banana Cookies
Perfect for when you're tired of making banana bread. With very similar ingredients you can make these cookies that come out nice and soft — ideal for dunking in milk or chocolate milk.

Step by step
- 1
Peel a banana and mash it.

- 2
In a bowl, add room-temperature butter and the sugar, and beat until creamy.

- 3
Add vanilla extract, one egg and the mashed banana. Add the flour, baking powder and baking soda, preferably through a sifter. Mix again until combined — I recommend using a spatula to scrape off the flour stuck to the sides.

- 4
Add the oats (optional).

- 5
Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet using two spoons.

- 6
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes.
