Crumble the yeast over the milk and set aside (without mixing).

In a bowl, add the flour, one egg and the sugar; stir the milk with the yeast and add it in. Combine.

Turn it out onto the counter and keep bringing it together with your hands.

Add room-temperature butter to the dough and knead it in — do it in two batches.

Cut the dough into small buns and place them on a floured baking sheet.

Cover with plastic wrap and let them rest until doubled in size.

Heat oil for frying and add the dough buns. Remember to flip them once one side is fried.

Remove from the oil, place them on paper towels and then roll them in sugar to coat.
