Cinnamon Cookies

In a bowl, combine the room-temperature butter, the white sugar and the brown sugar. Beat well until you get a really smooth mixture.

Add the vanilla extract and the egg, and mix them in.

Add the flour, baking powder, cream of tartar and cinnamon, preferably through a sieve. Add the salt and mix everything together.

Roll the dough into little balls and place them on a baking sheet — you can also coat them in sugar.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.
