Add the cornstarch to the milk. Mix well with a whisk or a fork, making sure there are no lumps left.

Once the mixture is well combined, transfer it to a pot and add the coconut milk, the heavy cream and the sugar. Mix well with a whisk.

When all the ingredients are fully combined, place the pot over medium heat and let it warm up while stirring constantly. Keep going until it comes to a boil.

Once it's boiling, lower the heat to the lowest setting and keep stirring for one minute. The mixture should take on a thick consistency.

Transfer the mixture to the serving cups and let it rest for at least one hour at room temperature. Then move it to the refrigerator. Optional: you can decorate the surface of the pudding with shredded coconut.
