Coffee Panna Cotta Recipe
Unlike flan, panna cotta has a much better texture and body, which in my opinion puts it on my personal podium of best desserts. This coffee panna cotta recipe lives up to that, combining the traditional recipe with delicious coffee — instant or espresso, your choice.

Step by step
- 1
Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it evenly over a small bowl with 35 g of cold water; set aside.

- 2
In a pot, add the cream, the milk, the sugar and the instant coffee. Heat over medium heat while stirring — it doesn't need to boil, just heat until all the ingredients are fully dissolved.

- 3
Once everything is dissolved, remove from the heat and let it cool for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

- 4
Add the gelatin to the mixture, first warming it in the microwave until it's steaming, whisking constantly as you pour it in.

- 5
Pour the mixture into glasses and chill first in the freezer for 30 minutes, then move to the refrigerator.

- 6
Top with chocolate sauce. (Optional)
