Set a pot over medium heat and add the condensed milk, the cocoa powder and the butter. Stir constantly until combined into a very thick paste.

When the mixture is thick enough, take the pot off the heat. Pour the contents into a bowl or dish to cool. Press it down so it fits the container using some kind of utensil (because it will be hot) and cover it with plastic wrap, making sure the wrap touches the mixture. Refrigerate for two or three hours. Optional: it can help to line the bowl or dish with plastic wrap first so the mixture is easier to remove later.

After the chilling time, take it out of the refrigerator, remove the plastic wrap and cut it first into strips and then into little squares. Dust cocoa over both sides to keep the bites from being sticky. Optional: you can swap the cocoa powder for sugar and/or cinnamon.
