Gravlax Cured Salmon
Making gravlax — cured or marinated salmon — only takes salt, sugar, spices and time, and it's a recipe you should try if you love salmon.

Step by step

In a bowl, add coarse salt and the sugar.

Add spices to taste, for example: peppercorns, parsley, oregano, paprika, ginger. Mix everything together.

Cut the salmon so it fits in the container you'll be using and remove the bones.

Remove the skin from the salmon (if you don't know how, the video shows you).

Spread a layer of the cure mixture in the container, place the salmon on top and cover it completely with more of the mixture.

Leave in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.

Take the salmon out of the salt and rinse it.

Slice thinly or however you like it best.
