Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
These oatmeal chocolate chip cookies come out nice and crunchy, and they're the best for any afternoon snack!

In a bowl, add the room-temperature butter, the white sugar and the brown sugar. Beat until you reach a creamy texture.

Add an egg and vanilla extract, and mix them in.

Add the flour and the baking powder, preferably through a sieve. Add the oats and the salt, and mix again.

Pour in the chocolate chips, setting aside a handful first, and fold them in with a spatula.

Cover and refrigerate for one hour.

Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet, on top of a silicone baking mat or parchment paper to keep them from sticking.

Decorate by pressing the chocolate chips you set aside onto the cookies.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15 to 20 minutes.
