Peanut Butter Cookies
If you like peanut candy, you're going to love these cookies. Here you'll learn what nobody teaches you: how to pick the best peanut butter so they turn out spectacular.
Ingredients
Check off what you already have.
Step by step
- 1
In a bowl, add room-temperature butter and the peanut butter. Combine with an electric mixer or by hand.

- 2
Add the white sugar and brown sugar. Mix well.

- 3
Add one egg and vanilla extract, and beat again.

- 4
Add the flour and baking powder, preferably through a sifter. Mix everything very gently and only enough to incorporate the flour — no more, because that will make the cookies turn out hard.

- 5
Shape the cookies using a scale to make sure they all weigh the same, and place them on a baking sheet.

- 6
Shape the cookies with a fork or chopsticks.

- 7
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.
