    Wash the strawberries and cut them however you like. Set aside.

    In a bowl, add the room-temperature butter and the sugar. Beat well for at least five minutes.

    Add the eggs one at a time, beating the mixture after adding each egg (shown in detail in the video).

    Add the flour and the baking powder, preferably through a sifter. Combine and add the milk. Beat until well combined.

    Fold the strawberries into the batter and distribute them with a spatula or spoon.

    Place the paper liners in the muffin pan and fill each one with batter up to the edge of the liner. Tap the pan against the counter so the batter settles well and bake at 180°C (350°F) for at least 35-40 minutes.

    To check on the muffins, test one of them with a toothpick or skewer. If it comes out with batter on it, they're not ready yet. If it comes out just moist, they're done. Let them cool for at least half an hour.
